The whole reason for starting this blog is because time is ticking away and I am determined to get fit before I reach 50. I’m 47 years old this year and I’m making big changes to my health and fitness.
I’ve always liked running but have been a bit of a plodder so to speak. I’ve taken part in fun runs with my teenage daughter, I’ve run in the Great North Run half marathon several times, done the odd 10k here and there, but my new passion is trail running.
Lucky for me I only live 30 mins from Cannock Chase, a beautiful place to put on my running shoes and hit the trails and hills for an hour or two with my husband. This is now becoming our Saturday morning ritual and something we both look forward to after a busy week at work.
Whatever the weather, we’ll put on our running shoes and hit the trails…
